I’ve probably said a million times how much I hate this blog for reinforcing rigid gender norms, established over centuries of patriarchal dominance and superficially denied but implicitly embraced in U.S. pop culture, but I’m going to say it again. Women don’t need to be told to apologize. That doesn’t define you as a “lady.” It’s something women are socialized towards already. I prefer this, “The #164 Rule of a Person: be considerate of others when you can and acknowledge it when you aren’t.”
